I used this mini shoot with Luca to play around with a few subtle changes to my editing style. What you can see below are a few are the results. I wanted to see how far I could push the haze effect in a number of them. I'm really keen on a dollop of haze but as with most things, I've always got to take care not to overuse it. I'm able to insert haze in a picture both by shooting into the sun and artificially in Photoshop.
I always aim to do as much as I can 'in camera' but I use Photoshop to give my images that extra punch. This is usually in terms of colour cast and contrast but I also try to give eyes some attention to make them stand out as much as possible without making them look unnatural. Photoshop is also a life-saver when it comes to removing the assorted gunk our beautiful children collect on their faces.
Please get in touch with me if you would like to me to make some beautiful images of your children. My price starts at £149 which includes £50 towards finished products. Keep an eye out for a summer offer coming soon.
