‘I hired Jodie to be the official photographer at a public lecture, given by a distinguished scientist. Jodie was very professional in his preparation, inspecting the venue before the day of the lecture and turning up early. He was not all intrusive in his approach and took a number of very good photos including some which were more imaginatively framed. I would highly recommend him - he is friendly, accommodating to your needs and conscientious.’

Hi there and nice to meet you, I’m Jodie.

Welcome to my website. I’d love for you to have a good poke about to see if there’s anything you like. My various portfolios perhaps? Or for my most recent work, have a look at my blog. Come back any time you like: I’ll be updating it often with offers and new content and if you are interested in working with me, get in touch and we’ll set something up, it’ll be fun!

I really love being around people. Meeting new folks brings me a lot of happiness. It’s always a chance to learn something new, share some good cheer and even take the first steps towards a collaboration. Good times with good people, it’s what life is all about to me.

I’m a very proud daddy to Luca, my beautiful fourteen year old son. I know I’m biased but he’s a wonderful soul and bonkers in the most delightful way. All sorts of things interest me from podcasts to reading and from gardening to meditation. I’ve got a small but pretty well stocked garden full of lovely plants and edible things. Music never stops blowing my mind. I started off my musical journey as a Metallica t-shirt, Doctor Martens boots and purple shell-suit bottoms wearing, rock and metal fan! I still love all that but I’ve delved into areas like jazz and electronica and one of these days I’m going to start learning that guitar I’ve had for 10 years! Live music is one of the greatest of pleasures, there’s nothing like the energy of seeing and sometimes meeting your musical heroes. Guns n Roses was my first gig! What else? Well, I play football, indoor rock climb and run every week. I have a group of very dear friends and I have a bunch of hopes and dreams. All in all, life is pretty good.

Like lots of people, I’m not too keen on having my photograph taken. All I see is a massive head and weird face. So I get it. You’re in safe hands with me. I’m good at getting folks to relax and be themselves, so that you almost forget the camera is even there. The pictures of me you see on this page were taken very kindly by my dear friend Andy ODonnell. He doesn’t do photography as a professional but I think his work very much is. You can check out his work here.
